My first post would of course be about chickens. Apparently it's becoming "the next big thing" to own chickens, especially since it fits with the ecofriendly ideals of the city I live in. However, I don't own chickens because it's a popular thing to do. I've owned chickens since I was five and probably always will. Although most people doubt it, chickens make excellents pets. They answer when called and can be trained to do or not do certain things, much like dogs. As for the picture, it is of Lulu, a Silver Spangled Hamburg.
